Jennifer M Godbout, MD

Dr. Jennifer Godbout is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a native of Hampton Roads with a longstanding passion for caring for women through every stage of life.
A graduate of Gloucester High School, Dr. Godbout earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Virginia, before obtaining her Doctor of Medicine degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Louisville.
Dr. Godbout provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including preventive care, prenatal care, and the evaluation and treatment of a wide range of gynecologic conditions. She has a particular interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and menopause management.
Dr. Godbout is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP), reflecting advanced knowledge and dedicated expertise in menopause and midlife women’s health. She is passionate about helping women navigate hormonal and life-stage changes with individualized, evidence-based care focused on improving overall health and quality of life.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Godbout lives in Yorktown with her husband, Eric, and their three daughters. She enjoys reading, traveling, and being involved in Girl Scouts with her daughters. She values time with family and friends and enjoys staying active in her community.
