Kelly Flythe, FNP-C
Keeping women healthy for generations to come
Kelly Flythe is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with nearly two decades of experience in women’s healthcare and a longstanding connection to Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates of Hampton.
Kelly began her nursing career with the practice in 2005 as an LPN and continued to advance her education and clinical training while caring for patients within the practice. She later earned her RN and Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees before gaining additional experience in the hospital setting within the neurosurgery department.
After starting her family, Kelly returned to Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates of Hampton, where she continued her education while working within the practice, ultimately earning her Master of Science in Nursing and becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her professional journey reflects her deep commitment to patient care, lifelong learning, and the community she serves.
Kelly earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing through Riverside College of Health Sciences and her Master of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University. She is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
She is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care for women through all stages of life and believes in building strong, supportive relationships with her patients. Kelly takes a thoughtful and individualized approach to healthcare that considers each patient’s physical, emotional, and lifestyle needs.
Clinical Interests
Kelly is also an active member of the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ASCCP) and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), helping her stay current with evolving women’s healthcare guidelines and treatment recommendations.
Outside of medicine, Kelly enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, gardening, and cheering on her son as he learns new skills at the skate park. She also enjoys spending time at the drag strip with family and friends and values maintaining a healthy balance between work and family life.
