Keeping women healthy for generations to come

Rachel McAdams is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing compassionate, personalized care for women throughout every stage of life.

As the daughter of a military family, Rachel spent much of her childhood traveling throughout Europe and the United States before eventually settling in Hampton Roads. A graduate of Poquoson High School, she earned both her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.

Rachel brings two decades of women’s healthcare experience to the practice, including many years caring for patients at Langley Air Force Base Women’s Health Clinic. She is excited to continue serving women in the same community where she and her family call home.

Her connection to Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates of Hampton goes back many years. Rachel completed part of her clinical training with the practice during graduate school, and providers within the group delivered two of her three children, making her return to the practice especially meaningful.

Rachel is passionate about helping women feel comfortable, informed, and supported in their healthcare decisions. She values building lasting relationships with her patients and believes in taking time to truly listen and provide individualized care tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.
